 Rain

Rain patters gently against the window panes

A lullaby to soothe the broken hearted

Bringing with it the hope of a new beginning

Washing away the pain of yesterday

A promise of a fresh start

Raindrops falling like tears from the sky

A cleansing shower to wash away the hurt

Bringing with it the possibility of hope

A new day to start anew

A chance to begin again
